Principal's Update
Welcome back to Term 4! We hope everyone enjoyed a restful break and is settling into the new term. Daylight saving has made those early morning starts a little more challenging, but it is lovely to enjoy the extra daylight in the evenings.
Thank you to all our families for your patience and understanding while our school office is closed for the upgrade. Our administration team is now based in the gym. If the gate is locked when you arrive, please call the number displayed on the gate, and a member of the office team will come and let you in.
We are excited to see building work begin on our new office and administration area. Once completed, it will provide a welcoming and inviting entrance for our school community. We are hopeful that the work will be finished by the end of the term.
This week, we welcome back Mr Hansen from paternity leave, with Mr Woodward returning next week. It will be lovely to have them both back at school.
Our staff also enjoyed a valuable day of professional learning yesterday. Teachers continued their learning with Dr Nathaniel Swain, while our wonderful Education Support staff participated in sessions with an art therapist and an occupational therapist. It was a great opportunity for everyone to build their knowledge and skills to further support our students.
Term 4 promises to be another busy and exciting term, with many wonderful events and activities ahead. Please keep an eye on the school calendar and upcoming communications so you don’t miss what’s happening. We look forward to sharing a fantastic final term of the year with you!
Warm regards,
Kelsey & Melissa
