Performing Arts

Term Overview – Performing Arts (Music K–6)

This term, students will explore the elements of music through engaging and practical experiences across all K–6 grades. They will develop an understanding of key musical concepts including beat, tempo and dynamics. Students will also explore how music is created and organised through melody, genre and structure.

Through listening, performing and composing activities, students will build their skills in musical composition and performance, developing confidence and creativity while working both independently and collaboratively. 

Our Band and guitar groups will continue their programs this term, with upcoming performance opportunities.
