A message from the Principal

Last week was a truly special week at SKiPPS as we celebrated Harmony Week across our school community. Throughout the week, and particularly during our assembly, the words inclusion and kindness were echoed by our presenters. These are not just themes for a single week, they are values that I see lived out every day at SKiPPS. They are what make our school such a supportive and welcoming place, and they are a big part of why I feel so proud to be part of this community.
One of the highlights of our Harmony celebrations was our whole school folk dance, where it was hard to tell who was enjoying themselves more - the students or the parents! Seeing so many smiling faces, connected through such a joyful shared experience, was incredibly special and a reminder of the strength of the SKiPPS community.
Looking ahead, next week marks the final week of Term 1. We will finish the term with our Annual Athletics Day - another fantastic event that truly reflects our commitment to inclusion, with every student participating and contributing to the spirit of the day.
Please keep an eye out later in this newsletter for more information, including a link to sign up as a helper. The support of our parent community not only helps the day run smoothly from a logistical perspective, but also adds to the vibrant, festival-like atmosphere that makes the day so memorable for our students.
Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support.
