5/6 Hoop Time 2024 MSAC

On Friday the 9th of August the year 5/6 students went down to MSAC in Albert park to play in the Hoop time Holt district against other schools. 

St Agnes Boys All Stars

Game 1:  St Agnes Boys, 13  vs St Finbars, 10

St Finbars had most of the possession in the game but because the St Agnes boys gave them a tough time with an amazing defence. At the end of the game the score was 13-10 St Agnes.

Game 2: St Agnes boys, 10 vs St Joseph's Elsternwick, 9

St Josephs started off strong by getting the first few points but the St Agnes boys weren't ready to accept defeat. At the end of the game St Agnes got away with the win.The final score was 9-10 St Agnes.

Game 3: St Agnes boys, 12 vs St Mary’s, 8

St Agnes’ next game was against St Mary’s, who had some great players but overall St Agnes came home with the win. 8-12 St Agnes.

Semi Final: St Agnes boys, 18 vs Sandrigham, 9

The next match for the St Agnes boys was the Semi Final against Sandrigham. Sandrighma kept everyone at the edge of their seats and put up a great fight. At the end of the game the score was 18-9 with St Agnes winning to get into the Final. 

The Final: St Agnes boys, 10 vs  St Finbars, 15

With St Agnes into the finals we had to play St Finbars again who made it aswel .At the end of the game St Finbars were determined to win, The final score was 15-10 St Finbars.

St Agnes Girls All Stars

Game 1 we lost 24-2 St Agnes Girls vs St Finbars 

 St finbars had the possession of the ball for most of the game Eleanor managed to steal the ball and got a swish. The game ended being 2 to 24 well done to St finbars they are great sports.

Game 2 we lost 4-14  St Agnes Girls vs St Lowther

St Lowther had started off strong with the score being 4 to 0. Ava got the ball and shot twice, making the score 4 all. At the end of the game St Lowther got 10 goals making the score 14 to 4.

Game 3 we lost  4-15 St Agnes Girls vs St Marys

St Agnes started off with the posesion of the ball  we got 4 points from Ava and Eleanor. At the end of the game the score was 4 to 15.

Game 4 we lost 5-8 St Agnes vs Auburn 

Auburn had the ball for most of the game but luckily we got 2 three throws and we got one in then Sienna passed to Ava and we got another goal. Then we got the ball again and Ava passed to sienna and sienna made the shot.

Game 5 our last game 20-2 St Agnes Girls vs MLC 

The ball was equally shared from one team to another going up and down the court. Sienna got the ball and dribbled down the court and got a goal but then after that MLC got goal after goal, and the score was 20 to 2.
