Fundraising Goal for 2025: Literacy and Learning Resources
Welcome back to Term 4 - this year is certainly going fast! Dare we mention that it's 2 months until we break up for the year?!
We’re delighted to tell you the fundraising total for this year as of the end of Term 3 is at $55,199,91- an incredible effort and we're still not done with our events this year! To find out more, here is an update below. Thank you to you all for supporting these events and our fundraising. It really makes a huge difference to our school and our children. Let’s aim for $60,000 - that would make it the biggest ever fundraising year in Altona Green history!
Father’s/Special Person’s Day
Thank you to all the special people who attended our Father’s Day event last term - it was great to see so many families engaged in the activities and buying lunch. We raised $2,943.73 on the day.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
Thank you to the families who bought packs of doughnuts. We raised $260.50.
Subway lunch
We feel that you should be thanking us for getting you off lunchbox making for the day, but instead we will thank you for helping us raise $647.15. Thank you
Friday treats
Term 3 treats proved to be a big hit. Thank you for continuing to support these - we raised a total of $1465.49.
We’re back to icy poles this term in the hope that the sun might actually shine!

Family Portraits
Thank you to all the families who came along on 11th October and had their portraits done. We hope that you’re really happy with the copies you have. You also helped raise $600 for our school.
Upcoming events
90’s Game Show Night (ADULTS ONLY) - Friday 14th November
Tickets are now on sale for our 90’s Game Show Night.
This night is an adult only event for Parents & Friends (and staff) to come together under Gumbuya (come on Melbourne weather) and have some fun whilst raising money for our school.
Our game show queen will be in full force with her quiz maiden by her side.
Tickets are $20 per person- bring your own nibbles and drinks.

Volunteering
Looking at a way to get involved with the school? Volunteering for our events is an excellent way to meet new parents. We need volunteers all year round. Our online platform below always has spaces available so please make sure you check regularly to see when you can help out.
