Group 23

 Meals on Wheels - 2026

Our students in Group 23 have now re-commenced their valuable voluntary involvement with the Meals on Wheels program conducted by Knox City Council. 

In recognition of their efforts, two of our senior students – Sahithi and Sai – have recently received nominations for the Knox Volunteer of the Year Awards. We wish both these students all the best when the final award recipients are announced on Wednesday 20th May.

The Meals on Wheels program is aimed at providing our students with an inclusive and enriching experience that extends beyond the classroom, promoting personal growth, social skills and community engagement.

Conducting a busy ‘round’ each week also provides an opportunity for senior students to develop essential life skills such as communication, time management, organisation, and problem-solving. 

Our regular clients greatly look forward to our visit each week, with our students always greeting them all with a friendly smile, a kind word, and a helping hand.
