Year 5 Girls Footy Gala Day

On Thursday 13th November 2025, thirteen Year 5 girls proudly represented Murrumbeena Primary School at the BDS Primary Aussie Football Girls Gala Day, held at King George Memorial Park, East Boundary Road.

The girls participated in a round‑robin day of football against six other schools, and the atmosphere was full of energy and excitement. Throughout the matches, the girls showed incredible resilience, bouncing back from challenges with determination and spirit. Their ability to work together highlighted the power of teamwork, as they encouraged one another, shared responsibilities on the field, and celebrated each success as a group. They displayed respect at every stage of the day towards their opponents, referees, and each other.

The perfect weather made the day even more enjoyable, and every student left with smiles, confidence, and pride in representing Murrumbeena Primary School.
