Friends of Donvale

What a busy term it has been! The Friends of Donvale (FOD) team love to treat our students and teachers, so on Friday last week we did just that by providing hot chips to the Year 3- 6 classrooms as well as the Primary staff room. Finding Nemo Jr had been a sold-out success and all the teachers and students thoroughly enjoyed their special treat to celebrate.  Thanks to the volunteers who helped with the purchasing and serving of the chips.

Then last Saturday night, the Year 5/6 students danced and sang the night away under the "Let's Glow" theme. They were all lit up under UV lights as they enjoyed pizza, ping pong and party tunes! Even the parents joined in with the Nutbush and consumed delicious cheese and dessert platters.

Bookings are now open for the Year 3 event. They will be going to Flip Out for a morning of fun on Monday 2 October, just before next term begins.

And for our Year 7s and 8s, there is something coming for them too. The Wild West theme will be so much fun, so bring your friends for dessert, games, dancing and the ever popular photo booth.

Parents will be catered for with tea, coffee and serious sweet stuff, so please stay and make the most of this opportunity to make connections and build community in your year levels.
