Principal's News

Hello families,

This past fortnight was one in which went far too quickly particularly as we had to say farewell to our parish priest Fr. Thaddeus. He has been a very instrumental part of the school and parish community over the last 5 years. We were able to celebrate his dedication and leadership with a Saturday night Mass and dinner as well as a school and parish Mass on Wednesday this week. It was at these times were we could come together as a community and thank Fr for all he has done for us as a whole and as individuals. I personally thank Father for his help in welcoming my family and I into the community and for helping me in my times of need. He has been a wonderful supporter of the school and an amazing ambassador for our beautiful community. Thank you for all you have done we will most definitely miss you, we wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you at your new Parish in Glen Innes.

The other quite significant event we hosted this fortnight was our Diocesan Annual Improvement Plan meetings. Leadership teams from Barraba, Mungindi, Inverell (Mr Smith in particular) and Moree attended our school to share their success and challenges over the year. We were also able to showcase our school by inviting all leaders to engage in 'Walks and Talks' throughout our classrooms. This opportunity gave our students and teachers the chance to demonstrate what great learning takes places in our school.  We must thank all involved in creating such a great learning and collaboration experience. We look forward to hosting such events in the future.

Thanks
