PRAYER

Today, as we celebrate Remembrance Day we reflect on the devotion many Catholic soldiers have for Our Lady. Throughout history, soldiers have turned to Mary, the Mother of God, for guidance and strength on the battlefield, often carrying medals, rosaries or images of her as reminders of the hope our faith gives us. This devotion reflects our trust in Mary’s maternal care and her intercession to God on our behalf.

Prayer for Soldiers

O Blessed Lady, Mother of Mercy and Peace,

watch over our soldiers with your tender care.

Guide their hearts with courage, 

their hands with mercy,

and shield them beneath your mantle of love.

Keep them safe in danger, steadfast in faith,

and bring them home in hope and peace. 

Amen.

COMMUNITY MASS THANKS

We have celebrated our final Community Mass for the year.  As our November Mass clashes with the Parish Fair, it has been postponed for this year.  I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank the parents on our Liturgy Committee and have worked tirelessly throughout the year planning and preparing for the many aspects of a Community Mass, including setting up the space and providing music for each Mass.
