School Review Report
Following our school review at the end of last year, the final report has now been completed by the independent reviewer and was presented to School Council last night by our Senior Education Improvement Leader.
The Executive Summary is now available on our website for community members. It outlines the key findings of the review and highlights our priority areas for focus moving forward.
School Strategic Plan
Developed following the review, our School Strategic Plan (SSP) sets the direction for the next four years of school improvement. The SSP is based on the key directions - the goals, targets, and Key Improvement Strategies (KIS) - recommended by the School Review Panel. These directions are grounded in the evidence and findings from the review and are documented in the School Review Report.
The key directions are shared with staff and the broader community to ensure collective ownership and strong support for the SSP over the life of the plan.
The 2025–2029 School Strategic Plan is also available to our school community via the school website.

Annual Implementation Plan
The Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) brings our four-year SSP to life. Each year, schools develop an AIP to outline how the goals and KIS will be implemented for that year.
The AIP includes:
The SSP goals, targets, and KIS selected as priorities for the year
The key actions and tasks to implement the KIS
Evidence of change to measure the impact of these actions
The AIP is developed and monitored by school leaders and the School Improvement Team (SIT), with input from staff and the broader school community as appropriate. Our 2026 AIP will be shared with the community in the coming weeks.
Fete
We are only four weeks away from our Fete on Saturday 28 March!
Early bird pricing for rides ends today, so don’t miss your last chance to grab discounted tickets before sales open to the wider community.
We also need volunteers to help run our stalls. While each area has a stall captain, we still need plenty of helpers to make the day a success. Shifts are only two hours long, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the Fete with your family. If we don’t get enough volunteers, we may need to reduce the number of activities and stalls on offer.
Every helping hand makes a difference: Volunteer here
Thank you for supporting our school community!
School Council Elections – Important Information
Ballot packages for the school council elections are being sent home with your eldest child today.
Due to a slight delay in distributing the ballot papers, the election dates have been revised. Please take note of the following key points:
A ballot box is available at the front office for submitting votes. If dropping off the envelope on your behalf, your child must inform the office staff so your name can be registered. If you are posting your own vote at the office, please fill in the Voting Register.
Read the instructions on the ballot paper carefully before casting your vote.
The ballot will now close at 4:00 pm on Friday 6 March.
Votes will be counted on Tuesday 10 March, and the declaration of the poll will occur by the end of the day.
Parents/carers will be notified of the successful nominees via a Compass Newsfeed.
We encourage all eligible voters to participate in this process to support the effective governance of our school.

NAPLAN and GTKY Interviews
As we approach NAPLAN, we would like to let families know that students in Grades 3 and 5 will complete testing between Wednesday 11 March and Monday 23 March. Information has already been shared via Compass, and we encourage you to take a moment to read through it if you have not already.
At Bell, we always aim to make this time feel as calm and normal as possible for our students. We know that children do their best when they feel safe, supported and settled, so we work hard to keep the experience familiar and low-stress, while also following the guidelines that all schools are required to meet.
Outside of NAPLAN learning and the school day goes on as normal.
I would also like to share a final reminder that Getting to Know You interview bookings close on Compass today. These interviews are a valuable opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher and help us build the strongest possible start to the year together.
