Welcome to 5/6 Wanderers
Over the past five weeks, 5/6 Wanderers have spent time learning about each other’s interests, strengths, and favourite activities. Students have enjoyed sharing stories, discovering common hobbies, and beginning to form strong connections with each other.

Building Friendships
We have focused on creating a welcoming and supportive classroom where everyone feels included. Through working with a partner, small‑group games, and daily conversations, students have been building positive friendships and learning how to work well together.

Our Class Routines
Students have been settling into new class routines and expectations. Every morning we go through the day's learning activities, ask and answer questions and share news. Clear structures are used to help students feel confident and ready to learn. Our daily Wordle has quickly become a class favourite and a fun way to warm up our thinking.
Learning Through Play
Students have enjoyed using games to review and practise new learning. Shush ball has been a big hit, along with maths games like Digit and Place, which help build number sense in an engaging way. These activities have helped us create a classroom culture that is both focused and fun.
