Principal's Report:

The final Year 12 Assembly on Thursday, 15th October was a lovely opportunity to congratulate our Year 12 students on their achievements and wish them well for their lives beyond school.  We heard sincere and inspiring messages from School Captains Pranali Shukla and Thomas Pringle, which helped to establish the significance of the transition our Year 12 students have commenced.

Their next milestone was two 'celebration' days the following week. Year 12 students dressed to themes of movie characters and festivals; and were very festive in creating cheer and humour across the school.

For student completing Unit 4 VCE exams, your teachers are here for you and will support you to the end.

EXAM TIME COMING SOON:

From Monday, 9th November, exams will commence for Year 11 students, and the following week for Year 10 students on Wednesday, 18th and Thursday, 19th November.

As we near the end of the year, many Year 7 to 9 students may struggle to maintain their usual focus and commitment to doing their best at school.  This week I spoke with all students about the school value Resilience, and maintaining high standards throughout the final quarter of our school year.  As with sports, it's important for students be engaged and trying their best, right up until the final bell.

A reminder also, our Tech Talk is now published fortnightly for those who may have been missing out on our news each week.

Kind Regards,

Mr Klate McFarlane.
