EKKA SHOW DAY REMINDER 🎡
Balmoral State High School will be closed this Wednesday for the Ekka Show Day public holiday.
We hope everyone enjoys the day off—we’ll see students back at school on Thursday!
Our Student Learning Conferences commence this Tuesday 11 August.
These suggestions are to support your young person to be fully prepared for this opportunity to share their experiences and thoughts.
Checklist of points:
- Check in with your young person to ensure they have completed their Notes page for each subject conference.
Ask if they have uploaded this to Teams Assignments for each subject to ensure it is available as a reference point for them for their conferences.
Teachers are looking forward to having positive conversations led by students encouraging their voice to showcase their learning progress. Rest assured we will support them through any nerves to further the opportunity to regulate and own their engagement in learning.
