Future Leaders of Werris Creek Public School
Each morning before we start our day we hold an assembly to discuss what is happening for the day, behaviour focus for the week and acknowledge our turn up and home reader awards. We start our assembly with an acknowledgement to country. We are now encouraging some of our younger students to step up and lead our school. This week we have Ashton & Koda leading with the Acknowledgement to Country. Well done to Ashton & Koda for aspiring to be future leaders of Werris Creek Public School.

Home Reading
Home reading is encouraged at Werris Creek Public School. Just 10 minutes per night can make a difference. To encourage our students to read at home, we offer some great incentives. If you would like some tips on encouraging your child to read, please see their classroom teacher.
Attendance Matters
Congratulations to the 10 students who are part of our 100% Club. These students have attended school 100% of the time in Term 3.

We have 35 Students in total attending 90% or above. Keep up the good work as attendance matters.

If your child is to be absent from school for any reason, please ensure you contact the school office to advise or reply to the SMS message that is sent on the day of absence. It is important that we notify the department the reason your child is not attending school.
