iLead Student Leadership Development Day
Our Year 10 and 11 students recently had the opportunity to participate in an inspiring iLead Student Leadership Development Day, delivered in partnership with LifeChanger.
The day provided students with the opportunity to explore what it truly means to be a leader, with a focus on self-discovery, personal values, resilience and positive personal growth. Across two engaging 90-minute workshops, students were encouraged to reflect on their own strengths, identify the values that guide their decisions and consider how they can overcome personal challenges and barriers.
Rather than focusing solely on leadership positions or titles, the program encouraged students to recognise that leadership begins with understanding themselves and the impact they can have on those around them. Students developed practical strategies and skills to help build their confidence, resilience and capacity to positively influence others.
The workshops provided a valuable opportunity for students to step outside their usual classroom environment, challenge themselves and think deeply about the type of leader, and person, they want to become.
We would like to thank LifeChanger for facilitating such an engaging and thought-provoking experience, and congratulate our Year 10 and 11 students for their enthusiasm and willingness to embrace the opportunities presented throughout the day. All of our participating students expressed they would absolutely recommend the program for future year levels!
