By getting involved, parents and carers play a key role in enhancing the school community and helping with initiative that benefit both students and staff. The P&C meets on Wednesdays during Week 3 and Week 8 of each term, providing an opportunity to collaborate on upcoming projects and share ideas.

Community Events

SECC Youth Drop-In Program

At South Eastern Community Connect (SECC), we’re proud to offer a free and inclusive Youth Drop-in Program every Wednesday afternoon, designed to support local high school students in a safe and welcoming environment.

The program runs from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at our community hub in Eastlakes and is open to young people aged 12-17. It offers a relaxed space where teens can:

· Enjoy free snacks and drinks

· Connect with others in a fun, supportive setting

· Take part in games, creative activities and workshops

· Access youth workers for guidance and support

This is a great option for students looking for a safe place to hang out after school, build friendships, and engage with their community.
