Principal's Update

Hi Everyone,

It's hard to believe that we are 3/4 of the way through the year with our last day of Term 3 next Friday 18th September! We have had some amazing learning opportunities this term for our students, including Book Week, swimming lessons, excursions, writing celebrations and plenty of Blitzmasters! The varied skills that students learn and develop with each of the different activities has been seen with academic, social and emotional growth in our students. We are very proud of their achievements and can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings. 

Term 4 Start

I would like to remind parents that Monday 5th October is a Student Free Day for staff professional development, and students will commence Term 4 on Tuesday 6th October. 

SunSmart Policy

As per our SunSmart Policy, all students must wear a hat during break times and sport throughout Term 4. All students are asked to remember to bring their hats. If you require a new hat they are available for purchase at WorkLocker. 

School Readiness Program

Our transition program for 2027 Foundation Students will be starting week 3 of Term 4. This program is for enrolled foundation students and strives to ensure all students feel comfortable in the school environment, get to know their peers and teachers, and learn about the exciting opportunities they will have at school!

If you, or anyone you know, has not yet enrolled their Foundation student please contact the school before the end of term to ensure they can be included in the School Readiness Program. I look forward to meeting all of our new Foundation students!

Free Dental Check-Ups

I urge all families to sign up for the free dental check ups on offer. Australian Dental Health will be visiting from the 6th October, first week of Term 4, to provide on-site dental check-ups for eligible students. Dental check-ups help maintain good oral health and are a simple way to have this taken care of during the school day. Parents and guardians are required to complete a consent form prior to the visit.
