Working Bee - George House

Gallery Image

For our Term 2 working bee, George House (green) families are invited to contribute to the upkeep of our school grounds and facilities.

We had a great showing from all GEORGE house families last year and look forward to a strong turn out again. Each family earns a number of house points for their attendance and support.

Knowing that weekends can be busy with sports and activities, we would be grateful for any time you can commit to between 8:30am and 11:30am on Saturday, May 2nd

Many thanks!

Mother's Day Afternoon Tea

We’re gearing up for a special Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea on Friday 8 May, celebrating the wonderful women in our community.

Jacinta Young (Jacinta's Flower Studio) has kindly agreed to organise the flower orders this year. They were such a hit last time, we’re thrilled to have her back on board. Information about ordering has gone home with students this week (extra copies at the office).

To help make the afternoon tea extra special, we’d love to recruit any bakers out there. Homemade treats are appreciated, but if baking isn’t your thing, store‑bought goodies are just as welcome. Same‑day drop‑off (Friday morning) to the office would be ideal to keep everything fresh. If you plan to contribute some baked goods or have questions please email Emma Wilkins, School Council Vice President (Emma.wilkins55@icloud.com)

We look forward to creating a beautiful celebration for the mums and special ladies in our community.

Scholastic Book Fair

Its that time again! Our reading fair will be held from Monday 11th May – Friday 15th May.

It will be held in our Multi-Purpose Room before and after school. From 8:45-9:05am in the morning and then again in the afternoons from 3:20-3:40pm.

Access, Choice and Practice are the key elements to help children achieve reading success and become capable, confident readers. We learn to read and then we read to learn. Helping every child become a proficient reader is critical to their future but helping children to love reading is a gift they can benefit from every day of their lives.

We are also looking for parent helpers to volunteer to help run our store. Please contact our school office if you are able to volunteer! Please note that a valid WWCC is required.

When Practice is Fun, Reading Comes Easy.

We ask all families, if not already, to please complete these actions ASAP.

The annual permissions are found under the "Insights" section in your Compass app.
