Olympic Mini Games Day

There were weeks of practice, the students sharpening their down ball skills for a once in a lifetime competition! The stands were packed and the adrenaline pumping, it was an outstanding show down – congratulations to Anthony Fry for taking home the Junior winner and Om Mehta for taking home the Senior’s prize! Well done to the Sports Captain and House Captains for umpiring the event.

Gold medals were being chased in the Olympic mini games where all ages participated in cornhole, the three-legged race and other novelties!

Bella Olsson and Lee Veliu’s Interact Club hosted the BBQ – raising just shy of $500 for the Story Dog initiative.  Great to see students from Year 7- 12 working together to support a great cause.

Many thanks to all of the staff that came down to buy a snag and join in on the festivities.

Connect 4 was popular on Olympic Mini Games Day,
as was corn hole,
and the three-legged race which proved also to be physically challenging.
Winners are grinners.
Anthony and Om who won the down ball competitions and were awarded chocolate, gold medals and certificates by Whitten House Captain, Jazzmin and Sports Captain, Lauren.
Students across all year levels worked together to raise money for a worthy cause, while ensuring the hungry were well fed.
Samuel did his part to help raise funds for the Story Dog initiative.
