Room 17

In Room 17 we have been learning about Belonging, Culture and Identity. We began by tuning in to the 3 different areas and finding out about each as a whole class.  We are now working on research projects ourselves to answer big questions we came up with.  These Big Questions have to link to all three of our understandings:

A - People have many diverse backgrounds, experiences, cultures and beliefs and these help to create their unique identities.

B - Australia is home to diverse cultural groups who came for different reasons in different waves of migration. 

C - We can all take steps to respect and understand each other’s similarities and differences, to build inclusive communities which value diversity.
