Scholarships
There are two fantastic scholarships available for students from Years 9 - 11 that provide amazing opportunities for leadership development.
The Sinclair Scholarship is aimed at Year 11 students and provides a Kokoda Trail experience. Application forms can be found in the Pastoral Care Centre. Further information is provided in this edition of the newsletter by clicking here.
In addition, Year 9 - 10 Science students are encouraged to apply for the Youth Leadership Program which is guided by mentors from Zoos Victoria delving into real life conservation initiatives for the Leadbeater's Possum. Pathways in Year 9
This term the Year 9 Pathway classes will have the Murray Mallee Learning Local and Employment Network come into their class to give presentations on how to be job ready. Mikayla started our first session with 9C and will be covering all things from resumes, cover letters and job interview tips.
Work Experience for Year 12 Work Related Skills
This week Ned Ryan had his first morning shift at Bunnings in the Plant Nursery working alongside Gayle. Every Monday Ned will continue to do his placement at Bunnings. He will be taking care of the plants in the nursery and providing friendly customer service!
