Dear Families,
GRANDPARENTS DAY
It was wonderful to see so many grandparents and special friends arrive at school on Monday morning to join us for our Book Character Parade. The children were so excited to share their costumes and favourite book characters with their special visitors.
It was also lovely to see everyone enjoying stories read to the children and sharing a delicious morning tea together. A huge thank you to all the families who generously sent along food to share. Your support helped make the morning such a special occasion for our students and their families.

STORY DAY
Once again I had several students very eager to share their writing with me. Today they were writing about their adventures while flying a kite. They have creative minds.
ATHLETICS DAY
Our Athletics Day will be held tomorrow Friday 28th August at the Toolamba Community Oval. It will be a great day of fun and friendly competition, as students participate and cheer on their respective Houses. Families are welcome to come along and cheer on the students throughout the day.
Students are encouraged to wear a t-shirt to match their houses colours. Other than that, they wear their school coloured shorts or tracksuit pants.
We will be running a sausage sizzle for lunch.

- 9:15–9:25am: Opening Ceremony – Amphitheatre
- 9:30am–2:30pm: Athletics Events
- 1:00pm - Lunch - Sausage Sizzle Available
- 2:30–3:00pm: Relays
- 3:00–3:15pm: Presentations & Closing Ceremony – Amphitheatre

P & F - FATHER'S DAY STALL
Donations are now being accepted for our annual stall. Items can be left in the baskets in the foyer at school.The stall will be held on Wednesday 2nd of September starting at 9am in the Art Room.
