Student Leadership at MSC

After nominating and inducting our Class Captains last term, we are excited to now see them actively stepping into their leadership roles across the College. There are a range of opportunities for student leaders to develop and strengthen their skills while positively contributing to the school community.

Interact Club

The Interact Club has been established in partnership with Rotary Melton West. Our student leadership team includes Captain Zoe K, Vice Captain Anorah, Treasurer Harnid, Secretary Naomi D, along with Sub Committee Leads Gian G, Roshba, Latoya, Charlotte W, Wendy V and Lai F. The club is providing students with an authentic leadership experience, focusing on service, teamwork, and community engagement. An upcoming ceremony will be held to formally recognise and celebrate students in these leadership positions.

Class Captains

Students were officially launched into their Class Captain roles through a session facilitated by Project Rockit, which brought together all captains across the College. This experience provided students with the opportunity to connect, reflect on their responsibilities, and explore what it means to be a positive and respectful leader.

Each week during Enrichment, our Class Captains come together to build their skills and put themselves in situations where leadership skills come to play in a fun and engaging way! Completing activities to strengthen teamwork, public speaking, leadership and problem-solving skills. We are excited to continue developing our student leadership initiatives and to see our student leaders grow in confidence and capability throughout the term, along with the positive impact they will have across the College community.
