Mrs Bashford-Leger’s Theatre Studies class has hit the ground running on the senior class play “Black Comedy” by Peter Shaffer with students responsible for all design and direction of the show. With planning and researching well underway, rehearsals will now begin to develop the play for presentation to an audience in early Term 2. Keep your eyes peeled for information closer to the date!
The cast of Newsies made up of students from Loreto and St Pat’s have made a huge amount of progress on the show in only three weeks. Choreographer Jinah Waters and Vocal Director Oscar Wilson are expertly guiding our students through Act One; it is so exciting to watch the songs and scenes start to take shape. We can’t wait to share it with audiences in May!
Drama Club returns this year in the Performing Arts Centre. Join us Fridays at lunchime and bring your creativity. We have welcomed some outstanding new Year 7 performers to our ever-growing crew and encourage any students who are interested to come along and join the fun!
