Polding Winter Trials Roundup!
Last Friday saw Grace F, Jessica, Josie, and Katie proudly fly the flags for St Patrick’s Primary and Armidale Catholic Schools at the Polding Winter Hockey Trials in Bathurst. They showcased their skills against talented hockey players from across the northern NSW dioceses, competing in numerous matches against five other regions for a chance to represent Polding at the NSWPSSA Hockey Carnival. While Grace F., Jessica, and Josie advanced to the Possibles vs. Probables stage, Katie's journey ended here. Nevertheless, reaching this level of competition for the first time is a significant achievement she should be very proud of.
Both Jessica and Josie have been chosen to represent Polding at the NSWPSSA Hockey Carnival in Newcastle, starting Tuesday, May 20th. We extend our congratulations to both girls and wish them the utmost success as they compete against the top junior female hockey players from various educational sectors throughout New South Wales.
ACS RUGBY UNION GALA TRIALS
The ACS Rugby Trials for interested students in Years 5 and 6 will be held in Tamworth on Friday 30th May 2025. Notes went out to interested families via Compass recently. If you have any questions and/or queries in regard to the Gala/Trials Day, please contact Mr Hyatt.

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook
St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook and it has been updated after the school swimming carnival held recently. This book is designed to give all members associated with our school a clearer understanding of when our school conducts our various sporting carnivals, the processes/qualifying times involved for students who want to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events as well as an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child may want to undertake in their respective sports.
