Principal's Message-

Laura Spence

Welcome back to sunny Term 4!

There is plenty to celebrate from the McClelland year that has been, while at the same time there is still so much to look forward to. For some students, these are the final weeks of their secondary schooling; for others, it is a chance to finish the year successfully, celebrate their growth, and look ahead to what comes next.

There is lots happening across the College this term; Year 12 celebrations and final classes, VCE and VM completion, exams, performances, sport, camps, awards, Grade 6 transition activities and plenty of opportunities for our students to showcase their learning.

Our Term 4 whole school assembly is coming up 20/10/26, where we farewell our 2026 Year 12s. For the first time we are welcoming parents to this assembly. If you would like to attend, please look out for more information about this next week.

We have already had a wonderful start, with our Year 12 VCE students demonstrating real commitment through their practice exams and our Year 12 VM students participating in interviews and panels. It is exciting to see our students stepping up and taking ownership of their next steps.

Term 4 is also a time when the Community around our students really matters. The encouragement, relationships and support provided by staff can make a huge difference, particularly for those students approaching significant transitions or facing challenges along the way.

As always, there will be plenty of opportunities for Growth — for students and for us as educators. We get to see the culmination of a year's learning, reflect on the progress our students have made and continue to create the conditions for them to finish the year with a sense of pride of their achievements.

So, welcome back. There is a lot ahead, and I am looking forward to sharing the final chapter of 2026 with you all.
