Gold House Captains

Hello everyone, we are Alex and Summer, your grade 6 Gold House Captains for 2026. We are so excited to represent our fellow Gold team mates this year!

I am Alex and my birthday is the 6th of July and I will be turning 12. I have a younger sister called Emilia and she will be in Prep next year. Next year I will be going to Mazenod and I can’t wait to join some of my friends and family there. I was excited to be in Grade 6 and start the year as a House Captain and meet my Prep buddy Elliot for the first time. I have made lots of new friends in my new class and I have learnt lots of new things. I have enjoyed Term 1 so far. I settled into my new class, had lots of fun with my friends and buddy on the playground, went on some great excursions to the beach and Parliament House and had fun participating at Inter School Sports playing Volleyball.

I am Summer and my birthday is on the 20th of March. I also have a younger sister. Her name is  Krystal and this year she is in Year 3. Next year I will be going to Avila. I can't wait to start high school. I have really enjoyed being in Grade 6, meeting my Prep buddies Leilani and Cecilia. The thing I was most excited about was being the 2026 Gold House Captain. It has been so much fun helping out with P.E class and lots more. This year I was so excited to meet the new people in my class and my new teacher Miss Di Cosmo. So far this term  I have had lots of fun playing with my friends and buddy. I have also really enjoyed doing the Summer inter school sports. I was in the teaball girls team and we nearly came first out of all the girls teams. There were 4 girls/ mixed teams that we competed against and we came 2nd but we all tried our best and had lots of fun. 

We are looking forward to the Easter holidays where we will spend time with our families celebrating Easter. We look forward to coming back to school in Term 2 where we will see all of our friends again and participate in the Winter Inter- School Sports. We hope everyone’s Easter is “Egg-stra” special, filled with lots of chocolate and fun!
