Gardening Club
Last Thursday, our STEM Captains had the privilege of continuing our partnership with Bunnings Torquay in the TCPS garden.
Three of our garden beds were refreshed with new soil, and a variety of flowers, vegetables, and herbs were planted. With beautiful sunshine overhead, students grabbed their gloves and watering cans and enthusiastically got to work.
It was wonderful to see them take such pride in our gardens, working positively and respectfully alongside the Bunnings team while helping create a vibrant space for our school community to enjoy and observe as it grows.
Stay tuned for our TCPS Garden Stall once our produce is ready for harvest!
WINTER COAT DRIVE
With winter approaching the CCG is doing another coat drive for Geelong Mums (now Our Village). A great opportunity to look through your kids' closets and clear out any outgrown or unused coats and greatly appreciate by families in need.
There will be a collection box in the school office at the end of term 1.
*Please ensure any donations are clean and in excellent condition :)
In Week 8 this term we are celebrating Harmony Week at TCPS. Students will be learning about living harmoniously together and focusing on the 2026 theme “Everyone Belongs.” Harmony Week celebrates multicultural Australia and we are excited to celebrate the diverse cultures that make up Australia. More information can be found on the federal government Home Affairs site at https://www.harmony.gov.au/.
On Friday the 20th March, we are encouraging all students to wear a touch of orange to celebrate Harmony week.
