Book Week Parade

Our Book Week Parade, inspired by this year's theme Symphony of Stories, was a wonderful celebration of reading, imagination and creativity. Students arrived proudly dressed as their favourite book characters, transforming the school environment into a colourful collection of beloved stories. From classic characters to modern literary heroes, every costume reflected the joy that books bring to our lives and highlighted the incredible effort families put into helping students prepare for the day.
Adding to the excitement, staff enthusiastically joined in the celebrations, embracing the spirit of Book Week by dressing as a wide range of characters. Their participation brought smiles to students' faces and helped create a sense of fun and community across the school. It was wonderful to see teachers and support staff modelling a love of reading while sharing in the excitement of the parade.
The parade truly captured the essence of Symphony of Stories, reminding us that every book contributes its own unique voice to the rich tapestry of literature. The event showcased not only creativity and imagination but also the strong culture of reading that exists within our school. Congratulations to all students, families and staff who participated and helped make this year's Book Week Parade such a memorable and joyful occasion.
Thank you, Hayley Shelton and Jacqui Creamer, for coordinating the parade.
