Assistant Principal - Angela Roberts
Hello, my name is Angela and I am thrilled to be a foundation Assistant Principal of Brinbeal Secondary College.
I have been teaching for 15 years within a number of secondary schools in Victoria. Previous to this role, I was an Assistant Principal at Tarneit Senior College. I teach Mathematics and Science and can't wait to get back into the Year 7 classroom.
I am a passionate Geelong Cats supporter and enjoy spending time in the garden or relaxing with a good book.
I am looking forward to meeting our first cohort of students and welcoming them and their families to the Brinbeal Secondary College community.
Assistant Principal - Justine Radford
Hi, I'm Justine.
I completed my Bachelor of Teaching at Ballarat University in 2006 and began my teaching career in 2007 at an International School in the UK. Since then I have taught a range of subjects, including Health, PE, Outdoor Education and Food Technology, in both Government and Independent schools and have worked in the Wyndham area for the past 5 years.
On the weekends, I compete in, and coach Netball in my hometown of Geelong. I enjoy spending time with my family, going for hikes, listening to podcasts and cooking.
I look forward to meeting all of the new students, families and staff at Brinbeal in 2024.
Business Manager - Monique Richards
Hi! I am Monique, and I am the Business Manager at Brinbeal Secondary College. I am so excited to be part of the new team.
I have worked within the Department of Education for over 7 years now and am looking forward to building this amazing new school.
I have two beautiful border collie dogs that I love to take on walks. My favourite meal of the day is breakfast.

Learning Specialist Disability Inclusion - Mary Karlos
Hello, my name is Mary Karlos and I will be the Disability Inclusion Learning Specialist at Brinbeal Secondary College, starting 2024.
I have been teaching with the Department coming up to 7 years now. I have spent the last 2 years teaching Psychology and I have a background in teaching English and Humanities to middle years.
I am passionate about teaching and supporting students in finding their passions and engaging with every lesson, ensuring that the diverse needs of all students are met.
I look forward to meeting all of the new faces that will be starting with Brinbeal next year.
Wellbeing Leader - Jasneev Bhatia
Hi! My name is Jas, and I am delighted to introduce myself as the Wellbeing Leader at Brinbeal Secondary College.
I have been a registered Child Counsellor for nearly 3 years now and part of the Department of Education for 2 years. I am super excited to now be part of the Wellbeing team at Brinbeal Secondary College, which also gives me the opportunity to grow with you all.
I very much enjoy trying different cuisines and this is why I love travelling, because food is life!
I am looking forward to meeting our Year 7’s at Brinbeal Secondary College and welcoming you all for a great year ahead, see you all very soon!
Performing Arts Teacher - Michelle Barnes
I’m Michelle Barnes, and I am delighted to be joining Brinbeal Secondary College in 2024 as the Performing Arts teacher! I grew up immersed in Dance, Drama and Music, and began dance lessons at just age 3! I have taught at a number of schools and am excited to share my knowledge and passion of the Performing Arts with the students next year.
After school, I enjoy taking my pug and bulldog for walks and spoiling them with pats and treats.
I am thoroughly looking forward to meeting the new students and families of Brinbeal Secondary College
English Humanities Teacher - Amelia Amuso
Hi my name is Amelia and I’m excited to be a foundation member of the Brinbeal Secondary College community!
I’ve been teaching English and Humanities in Tarneit for seven years and I’m committed to creating enriching learning opportunities for this community.
Most of my spare time is enjoyed with family. I enjoy reading, taking time out in nature and taking my cheeky one year old Dalmatian for walks on the weekends. I’m always on the hunt for new books to read and bookstores
to check out!

Hello, Kia Ora and welcome! My name is Mary, and I am so excited to be a foundation teacher at Brinbeal Secondary College.
I teach English and Humanities and believe in transforming subjects into thrilling adventures that kindle a lifelong love for learning.
Beyond the classroom, I enjoy staying active or getting lost in a good book/TV series.
Music is my ultimate go-to, and I’m always up for a spontaneous dance-off. I look forward to meeting you all!
Visual Arts Teacher - Fay Paleologoudias
Greetings! My name is Fay Paleologoudias and I am so looking forward to being a foundation Visual Arts teacher at our wonderful new school.
I am passionate about the Arts and have been teaching Visual Arts for over 30 years in a range of educational settings.
Leadership roles that I have undertaken include Student Engagement & Welfare Leader, Teaching & Learning Coach and Learning Specialist for the Arts Key Learning Area. My life long goal has always been to enrich the lives of others through engagement in the Arts. I love drawing, painting, printmaking, textiles and sculpture.
I'm so excited to contribute to the establishment of an amazing Art Department where students can explore a wide range of art forms, art styles and cultural experiences.

Hello, my name is Fiona Zhou and I’m so excited to join Brinbeal Secondary College as a Visual Arts & Design teacher!
I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a double degree in Graphic Design and Environmental Design, which has given me a unique perspective on the intersection of creativity and sustainability.
I believe in the power of ‘Art as Storytelling’. And my favourite sport is badminton! Can’t wait to meet you all!"
