Welcome back to the start of Term 2! 

 

The kitchen has been buzzing with activity.

 

We’re excited to announce that we’ve been busy baking delicious slices for our very first Mother’s Day Morning Tea! This is our first time hosting this special event, and we can’t wait to welcome our wonderful mums and special guests to share some tasty treats with us — lovingly made by all our Grade 6 students.

 

 

Kids in the Kitchen is still going strong, with our young chefs having fun making pizzas recently. It’s wonderful seeing their skills and confidence grow each week.

 

 

Our Extended Cooking Classes also kicked off this week, with a special guest — Mr Kenny from our Principal Team! He ran the session with our Grade 5 students, and together they made some seriously tasty curry puffs. It was a fantastic session and great to see everyone getting involved.

 

Over in the veggie garden, everything is thriving. The Bok Choy and silverbeet are looking fantastic, and we’ve been making good use of our fresh herbs like coriander and basil in the kitchen.

A quick, no-yeast pizza base made with just Greek yoghurt and self-raising flour — perfect for an easy pizza night!
