PRAYER
God, my Father,
May I love You in all things and above all things.
May I reach the joy which You have prepared for me in Heaven.
Nothing is good that is against Your Will, and all that is good comes from Your Hand.
Place in my heart a desire to please You
and fill my mind with thoughts of Your Love,
so that I may grow in Your Wisdom and enjoy Your Peace.
Amen
From the Principal
Dear Families,
It has been a positive start to the term for all students and staff. We have certainly been blessed with beautiful weather, however the mornings are now starting to feel quite chilly. From next week, students should be wearing their winter uniform. A reminder that you are able to purchase second hand uniform items from the office.
St Philip’s Feast Day
Sunday 3 May is the Feast of St Philip the Apostle, as a school we will celebrate on Monday 4 May when we will join the parish community for mass at 9.00am. Following that, students will engage in a range of activities that have been planned for the day, and they will be offered a slice of pizza and an icy-pole. Students are invited to wear a splash of red in recognition of St Philip’s robe at the Last Supper.
Mother’s Day Breakfast & Prayer Service
Our Mother’s Day breakfast will be held next Wednesday 6 May from 8.00 am in the Fr Arnold Centre. This is always a special occasion, a time when mothers, grandmothers, aunts and special friends can gather for a light breakfast and catch-up. Bookings can be made via Trybooking using the link

Walk Safely to School Day Friday 22 May
The national Walk Safely to School Day encourages all primary school children, their parents and carers to walk safety to school. This day also promotes the health benefits of walking and road safety. We encourage all students and their parents and carers to walk to school on Friday 22 May. If you must use the car we encourage you to park some distance away and walk the rest of the way. Students will be offered a fruit snack when they arrive at school.
2027 Enrolments
Enrolments are now open for 2027. Enrolment forms are available via email or from the office for families of children who will be commencing school next year.

Tuck Shop
Sticky Beak Lunch wallets now available to purchase from the office
Cost $15.00 each
"We would love to welcome all the new families starting at St Philips this year. Our Tuck shop is a highlight of the week for the children. They love seeing their parents during lunchtime counter sales! Lunch orders are taken in the morning and delivered to classrooms ready for lunch time. Over lunch time, we have snacks and treats available for sale over the counter. If you are able to spare 1 or 2 sessions per term to volunteer, we would love to hear from you! Full training will be provided. Each volunteer session is from 11:30 - 2.30pm, working in a pair. See below for contact details.
Tuckshop is open every Friday, we are very fortunate to have our tuckshop run by parent volunteers for the students enjoyment. This would not be possible without our small team of committed volunteers showing up week after week.
Please reach out to Clara on 0449 767 020 or Angi on 0431 021 711 if you can help. We appreciate your support.
How to submit a lunch order:
1. Purchase a lunch bag (sticky beaks bag) from the office or provide a paper bag.
2. Write your lunch order on the bag label or paper bag, along with the cost - refer to the latest tuckshop menu
3. Please include cash for the order- exact change is appreciated.
Don't forget to send some extra money if your child wants to order a snack over the counter at lunchtime!
Playgroup
Entertainment books are another piece to our fundraising puzzle. When you sign up you receive 12 months of discounts and offers - and our school benefits - 20% of every membership purchased goes to support our school!
