Almost the end of Term 3

As we approach the end of Term 3, it’s been wonderful to see our students steadily working towards their individual learning plans. This week, many families joined us for Student Support Group meetings—thank you for your ongoing partnership in supporting our students’ learning journeys. We truly value the collaboration between families, carers, and staff.
Naranga School recently hosted a “Pathways to Employment” event for our Year 10 students, alongside peers from Peninsula Specialist School and Nepean School. Past students shared their experiences transitioning into the workforce, and several Frankston employers were on hand to discuss various industries. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to ask questions and gain insight into future career paths. A big thank you to Brooke Winnett for organizing and facilitating this meaningful event.
On Wednesday, we welcomed visitors from VACCA (Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency), who delivered the “Deadly Lovin’” workshop to our Koori students aged 12 and above. This program focuses on respectful relationships through a therapeutic lens and will continue weekly for six weeks. The session was well received by all who attended.
As the term draws to a close, we kindly remind families to complete the parent survey. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your views.
Thank you for your continued support!
