In the garden we have been recording the amount of rainfall for November. Week one we collected 33mm of rain, second week we collected 35mm of rain. In the first half of November we collected a total of 68mm. The average monthly rainfall in the Frankston area for November is 64.8mm. So we are on track to have a bumper month of rainfall.

We made our own rain gauges and placed them around the garden, it will be fun to observe rainfall levels in the next couple of weeks.

Last week our senior students began to compose a garden song about their favourite things in the garden. Some students covered lyrics about our school animals others about the garden produce. A bit more work is required to fine tune our song before the big reveal. A big thanks to Chris our amazing garden teacher and musician who has helped our students to put their talents to work.

Animal of the Week......
We wanted to introduce our animal of the week. Bobby the goat, she loves to eat olive and apricot leaves . She is the younger sister to Skye and enjoys having brushes.
Bobby is the talker of the two and you will often hear her bleating for her breakfast.
