Located in the Library at the Holloway Road campus, the Careers Room is open every lunchtime. Students are welcome to come around and browse resources, ask questions, or book an interview with Deb Hanlen. Abbie Goddard has joined the Careers Department and will be working across Years 7-10.

Year 12
It has been a busy term for Year 12 students. VTAC course and SEAS applications have been completed and students are now preparing for exams.
Information on how to prepare for change of preference periods and when I am available to assist students will be sent home in November. Please refer to the following link to access all offer and change of preference dates.
C.A.S. Hawker Scholarship
C.A.S. Hawker Scholarships are one of the most generous privately funded scholarships available to undergraduate students in Australia. Each residential scholarship is valued at up to $60,000 over three years. The scholarships are available to all Australian students, and the majority are usually awarded to students entering their first year of university studies.
Selection is largely based on personal qualities and demonstrated leadership as well as academic ability. Undergraduate Hawker Scholars are able to attend a range of Australian educational institutions, so this scholarship is not restricted to one university.
The Charles Hawker Scholarship perpetuates the memory of scholar, soldier and pastoralist Charles Allan Seymour Hawker and commemorates the achievements of one of Australia’s most respected statesmen.
The 2025 C.A.S. Hawker Scholarships will open on Monday 18 November 2024 and close on Monday 6 January 2025.

Year 11 and 12
Accessing your ATAR or Study Score
Your ATAR will be sent to your VTAC account and will be posted home if you have paid your registration fee. If you would like to access your ATAR as soon as possible you can register for the Results and ATAR Service. You will need your student number to register.
Year 11 students wanting to access their study score will need to register.
Any student that needs assistance with job search informantion, apprenticeships and resume preparation can contact me via teams or pop into the careers room.
Year 9
For the next three weeks Year 9 students will be preparing for the 2025 work experience program. We will be sending home information about the program in the coming weeks.
