Diocesan Cross Country Trials
Congratulations are in order for the 28 students selected to represent St Patrick's at the Diocesan Cross Country Trials on Friday, April 4th in Barraba. Kindly ensure that all permissions are submitted to the school through Compass by March, 31st. Mr Hyatt will be serving as the team manager for the event.
Diocesan Winter Trials
The Armidale Catholic Schools (ACS) Winter Trials will now take place on Friday, 28th March in Armidale. This event provides students with the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete for selection in the Armidale Catholic Schools squads for Boys and Girls Football, Girls Hockey, and Netball.
We extend our best wishes to our seventeen Year 5-6 students who will be representing St Patrick’s Primary at the trials. Those who are successful will go on to compete at the Polding Winter Trials in Bathurst on Friday, 2nd May.
Polding Swimming Trials
We extend our best wishes to Grace S as she represents Armidale Catholic Schools at the Polding Swimming Trials. Grace will be competing in the Under 12 Girls 50m Freestyle.
This is an incredible achievement, and we are so proud of her dedication and hard work in the pool. Grace will be racing against some of the best swimmers from across the region at Sydney Olympic Park on April 2nd and 3rd.
Good luck, Grace! We know you’ll give it your all, and the entire St Patrick’s community is cheering you on!

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook
St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook and it has been updated after the school swimming carnival held recently. This book is designed to give all members associated with our school a clearer understanding of when our school conducts our various sporting carnivals, the processes/qualifying times involved for students who want to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events as well as an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child may want to undertake in their respective sports.
Attached below is the revised version of this manual, which now contains the latest information on Grace Smith's records at the swimming carnival.
