Year 5 Students Learn About Australian Democracy

Our Year 5 students have been exploring what Australian democracy looks like, learning about the three levels of government—Federal, State, and Local—and the different roles each plays in our society. Last week, they had the exciting opportunity to meet Zoe McKenzie, the Federal Member for Flinders. Zoe spoke with the students about her role in government and answered their thoughtful questions. The students demonstrated wonderful curiosity, respect, and enthusiasm throughout the visit, making it a fantastic learning experience for all!
