Please ensure your child brings a library bag for borrowing on their allocated day.

DONATION REQUEST 

The Library is looking to expand its current collection of Paul Jennings books. Do you, or someone you know, have any books in good condition that they would graciously like to donate to the school? If so, please drop it off to the School Office at any time.

PREMIER'S READING CHALLENGE ** Notes went home last week 

The Premier’s Reading Challenge aims to encourage a love of reading for pleasure in students, and to enable them to experience quality literature. It is not a competition but a challenge to each student to read, to read more and to read more widely.

The Premier’s Reading Challenge is open to each student in our school from Kindergarten to Year 6. This challenge will close on Friday 22 August 2025.  For more information visit ww.premiersreadingchallenge.nsw.edu.au

If your child would like to register for this challenge, please complete the note and return to school. 

PRINCIPAL'S READING CHALLENGE

The Principal's Reading Challenge encourages children to keep reading over the Christmas holiday break. Well done to everyone who participated in the challenge last school holidays. 

Certificates were awarded at a special assembly last Thursday for the following categories; 

• Bronze Certificate - completing up to 10 reading sessions
• Silver Certificate - completing up to 20 reading sessions
• Gold Certificate - completing up to 30 reading sessions 
• Platinum Certificate - completing over 40 reading sessions
• Champion Readers - completing the most reading sessions during the challenge

Well done to everyone who participated!!

Congratulations to our Champion Reader from Stage 1 - Thaddeus Bushby, from Stage 2 - Georgie Wallace and from Stage 3 - Sayul Kankanam Arachchige.
