News From Mr Smith

Dear School Community,

It is hard to believe that Term 1 is already coming to an end. This is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the many achievements of our students and school, and to ensure we remain focused on our vision of maximising learning and wellbeing outcomes for every student at Manifold Heights Primary School. I would like to thank our students, families and staff for their contributions to such a productive and purposeful term.

Mano is a Great Place to Be!:

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of joining our Grade 2 Learning Community for their “Big Day Out” excursion to All 4 Kids Playcentre. Alongside the valuable learning experiences that supported their work this term, I was incredibly proud of the way our students represented the school. They demonstrated our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Safety, showed excellent manners, and embraced the day with enthusiasm and joy. The venue manager even took the time to personally commend our students and staff on their behaviour. Congratulations to our Grade 2 students and teachers for being outstanding ambassadors—Mano truly is a great place to be!

Grade 4 Camp – Anglesea:

I am delighted to share that our Grade 4 students and staff have been having a fantastic time on camp in Anglesea. Writing this while with the group, I can report that students are thoroughly enjoying the experience. Highlights so far include archery, mini golf, time in their cabins, visits to Coogoorah Park, Jumpz, and simply spending time with friends. We look forward to hearing more about their adventures upon their return. I extend my sincere thanks to our dedicated staff for their planning, care and enthusiasm, as well as to our parent volunteers—Aimee Barnett, Stacie Benson and Adelle McCaskill—for their valued support.

End of Term Arrangements:

Today marks the final day of Term 1.

Please note that students will be dismissed at 2:30pm.

After School Care will be available from this time.

Thank you for your continued support of our school community. I hope you all enjoy a safe and happy Easter break.
