ANZAC Day School Ceremony and ANZAC Day March
Last Friday we held our annual ANZAC Day ceremony and then attended the march and ceremony at the cenotaph in Werris Creek on ANZAC Day to honor our service men and women who have served our country, those who are currently serving, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can enjoy the freedoms we have today. LEST WE FORGET.
Quirindi High School Year 6 Taster Day
Year 6 are attending the Taster Day at Quirindi High School today. Thank you to all Parents/Carers who assisted in transporting your child to the High School for this experience. We look forward to hearing all about it on Yr 6's return.

Dolly’s Dream provides free support and resources to help navigate the challenges of bullying and it's impacts, connect with services, and take steps towards creating a kinder, safer world. Mother's Day Breakfast
We will be holding a Mother's Day breakfast on Friday, 8th May in the school hall to celebrate our Mothers/Significant Female Caregiver to our students. Please come and enjoy a bacon and egg roll with your child from 7:30am to celebrate our Mothers/Significant Female Caregivers to our students. An invitation is available on Sentral or paper copy for those requested to advise for catering purposes.
Mother's Day Stall
Our P&C will be holding a Mother's Day Stall at 2:00pm for our students to purchase a gift for $5 for their Mother/Significant Female Caregiver. Order forms will be available shortly on Sentral or paper copy for those requested.
Parent/Carer Survey
In Term 2, we are inviting parents and carers to participate in the NSW Public Schools Parent Survey. The survey gives you the opportunity to share your experience at our school, including communication, inclusion, wellbeing and how your child's learning is supported. Notes to opt out of this survey will be available on Sentral or in paper form on Monday, 4th May and to be returned no later than Friday, 15th May. Survey will be open on Monday, 18th May and run through until Friday, 29th May. A link and QR Code will be provided to be able to participate in this survey.
Hearing directly from our parents and carers will help us understand what's working well and where improvements can be made. Participation in the survey is optional, your responses are anonymous, and it takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete. We will share with you the link as soon as it goes live.
Kind regards
Kathy Nott
