Dolly's Dream Visit
Dave from the Dolly’s Dream foundation came to Numurkah Primary School on the 23rd of April 2026, to teach us about bullying and cyberbullying.
Dave gave us a description of what Dollys Dream is about.
Dolly went to a boarding school in Queensland, and during her time there she was bullied not only in person but online as well. Her parents wanted to do something about bullying and set up Dolly’s Dream for kids and teenagers who have the same problem/circumstances. With a lot of effort, they were able to make Dolly’s Dream.
We played a few games to help us understand the concept of bullying and cyberbullying, and Dave made it fun and inclusive and after all the learning we got a ‘Do it for Dolly sticker.’
After all that some students from the school helped Dave make a film/advertisement Numurkah Primary were also lucky to have this service last Term, and hopefully Dolly’s Dream can help make the new generations and world a kinder and better place.
