Dear Parents,

We have had lots of events in the past week to finish off the term. We have had a really successful term. Thank you to all our families and friends for their support of our school and the opportunities we offer.

Last Thursday, our girls and boys basketball team participated in the Basketball Gala Day to play the local rounds of the PSSA competition. The girls came away with a win in the first game against Bathurst West and in the second game got another win, this time against Raglan. For the final game, the girls came up against Cooerwull Public School, and although they played well and put up a great fight, the shots wouldn't drop and the girls went down. The boys team also had wins in the first two games. The first against Bathurst West and the second against Perthville. In the final game against Eglinton, the boys played well, but again the shots would not drop, and the boys went down. It was a great day of basketball and both our teams should be so proud of how they played and showed commitment and passion for the great game of basketball.

On Friday, we held our 'Community Heroes Dress Up Day'. Children came to school dressed up as a community hero they admire. The costumes were sensational with such a variety of heroes on display. It is amazing to look at the heroes in our community and the positive impact they have on our lives. Thank you to all of our parents for supporting this day where we got to acknowledge our local heroes.

Congratulations to our Soccer Team on the successful season they have had. After a very successful gala day, they faced a very well-drilled West Bathurst PS on Tuesday.  It was a good and skilful game, with West Bathurst taking the win 3-0. Congratulations to our team on their efforts. A special thanks to Mrs McPhee and Ms Barber on their work with the soccer team.

Spotlight on Attendance

As winter settles in, cold, wet weather has brought an increase in seasonal illnesses. If your child is unwell, please notify us of their absence through the parent portal. For absences of three days or more, a medical certificate is required. Thank you for helping us keep our school community healthy.
