School Library Fund Donations 2026
TERM 3
The Templestowe Park Primary School Library and Resource Centre is a vital part of our school, providing students with a rich range of books and resources that foster a love of reading and inspire curious, inquiring minds.
We invite families to support our school by contributing to the School Library Fund. While the School Council allocates a library budget each year, the cost of books and other library resources continues to rise. Donations to the Library Fund help us to expand, renew and enhance our collection, ensuring that students have access to engaging, high-quality books and resources.
Our library collection is carefully curated to support the school curriculum and provide a balanced range of resources across all levels. With this in mind, students will choose a book to donate from a selection of titles that have been thoughtfully approved by the school.
Once your monetary donation has been processed, your child will have the opportunity to select books from the approved collection to donate to the library.
Each donated book will have a commemorative certificate placed inside the front cover, acknowledging the student or family who made the donation. Your child will also have the special opportunity to be the first to borrow the donated book, taking it home for two weeks for your family to read and enjoy together.
If you would like to support our School Library Fund, please print and complete the attached form, then return it in an envelope with your donation to the school office or your child’s classroom teacher. Please clearly mark the envelope ‘School Library Fund Donation’.
Please note that, at this stage, we are not accepting donations of physical books, either new or second-hand.
We also wish to remind you that donations to the School Library Fund are tax deductible. A tax receipt will be issued by the school within the current financial year.
Thank you for your support. Your Generosity will help us continue to provide an engaging, high-quality library collection for all students to enjoy.
