Message from the Deputy Principal

Mr O'Malley

Semester 1 Reporting

All parents should now have received the Semester 1 report for Years 7-10 students, the Unit 1 Report for Year 11 students and the Accumulation report for year 12 students. These reports were emailed last week and are also available via Q Parents. Please don’t hesitate to contact the school if you are yet to receive these reports.

For the first time, these reports include grades for ‘Effort’ and ‘Behaviour’ in our Resilience Project classes (Years 7–9), Careers and Pathways classes (Year 10), and Pathways and Transitions classes (Years 11–12). These grades recognise the importance of student engagement, participation, and positive learning behaviours in these programs that focus on personal development, career planning, and future pathways. By reporting on effort and behaviour, families and students will hopefully gain a clearer understanding of how students are engaging with these valuable learning experiences and developing the skills and habits that support success both at school and beyond. As these subjects do not include academic assessment, an 'N' has been recorded in place of an academic achievement grade. This indicates that no academic mark is awarded for these classes and is not a reflection of student performance.

School Opinion Survey

Have your say in this year’s School Opinion Survey from 27 July to 21 August!

Links to the survey have been emailed to all parents and caregivers, as well as selected year levels of students (Years 8 and 11). Students will have the opportunity to complete the survey in designated class times during the survey period but are also welcome to complete this in their own time.

We encourage all parents and caregivers to have their say so we can shape better learning environments for our students. Visit the School Opinion Survey webpage or contact school administration for more information.
