Dear Families

Welcome to the new school year at Woodville Gardens School Birth–6. As we begin Term 1, I would like to take this opportunity to share our aspirations and collective direction for 2026. Guided by the Department for Education’s strategy, our school remains steadfast in providing a world-class education that nurtures every child and sets them up for lifelong success.

At the heart of our work are our values: responsibility, respect, and fairness. These values underpin all aspects of school life and help us build a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for learning and growth. We encourage our students to be effective learners – to ask questions, to take ownership of their learning, and to work collaboratively with others.

Our school vision is clear: we strive to be a cohesive community of lifelong learners where excellence and innovation are at the forefront of education. We celebrate diversity and prioritise social inclusion, ensuring that every child is valued and has the support they need to reach their full potential.

As parents and carers, you play a crucial role in bringing our vision to life. I encourage all families to get involved—whether through joining governance groups, events, volunteering, attending assemblies, or sharing feedback. Together, we can create enriching opportunities for our children and further strengthen our vibrant community.

Let us embrace this new year with optimism, unity, and a shared commitment to educational excellence. I look forward to working in partnership with you to make 2026 a successful year for every learner.
