Sports Update

Primary Schools Netball Cup

On Thursday 6th August, six Stage 2 and Stage 3 netball teams represented our school at the Primary Schools Netball Cup in Inverell.

All teams participated enthusiastically, demonstrating excellent perseverance, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the competition. Our two Stage 3 competitive teams performed particularly well, with the St Joseph’s Red team finishing second overall.

This fantastic result means the St Joseph’s Red team will now represent our school at the Regional Finals in Tamworth on 10th September. We wish the team all the very best as they take on this next level of competition.

Diocesan Athletics Carnival 

On Wednesday, 5 August, 28 Stage 2 and Stage 3 students represented our school at the Diocesan Athletics Carnival. All students gave their best effort and demonstrated pride in representing our school.

The competition was highly competitive and our students should be very proud of their achievements. We are delighted that six students have qualified to compete at the Polding Athletics Carnival in Newcastle on 11th September.
