Principal's Address

Hello to all Moonie Families and Community,

Week 10, Term 2

Congratulations to everyone on a successful and productive Term 2! It has been a busy and rewarding term filled with learning and achievements.

I'm very pleased to share that I have been appointed as the permanent Principal of Moonie State School. It is a privilege to continue leading such a fantastic school, and I look forward to working closely with all our families into the future.

Semester 1 Report Cards

Student report cards will be sent home this Friday, 27 June. These provide a summary of your child’s progress and achievements for the semester. If you would like to discuss your child’s report next term, please don’t hesitate to reach out to book a time.

Looking Ahead to Term 3

We have an exciting start to Term 3 planned:

WEEK 1

·Athletics Carnival – Kookies vs Emus: Friday, 18 July at Moonie

·100 Days of Prep: Our Prep students will be celebrating this exciting milestone early in the term

WEEK 2

·Small Schools Athletics at Meandarra: Wednesday, 24 July

LATER IN THE TERM

·Eisteddfod: Please continue to practise your poems over the holidays – we can’t wait to see your performances!

·Science Week: A big thank you to Kirillee for securing a grant to support our Science Week plans. We’ll share more details early next term.

Term 3 Commences: 

Students return on Monday, 14 July 2025.

Thank you for your support throughout Term 2. I wish all families a safe, relaxing and well-deserved holiday break. See you next term!
