Dear Parents and Carers,
World Teachers' Day
Teachers are more than educators; they are architects of possibility. At Chevalier, we see daily how teachers shape not only minds, but hearts. Their expertise spans curriculum, programming and assessment. However, it is their unwavering commitment to the dignity of each student, as made in the image and likeness of Jesus, that truly sets them apart. In lessons, Home Room, theatres and fields, and every moment of guidance in between, teachers embody the MSC spirit: To be on Earth the Heart of God.
In a world that often measures success in grades and scores, our teachers remind us that true learning is relational. They walk alongside students, nurturing resilience and hope. Their work is not transactional. Whether supporting a student through a challenge or celebrating a breakthrough, they bring compassion and care to the forefront of their vocation.
The MSC charism calls us to love without limits, and our teachers strive towards this each day. They honour their work not just through professional excellence, but through the quiet, consistent acts of kindness that build a culture of belonging. Their presence in the lives of students is a gift, one that echoes far beyond the classroom walls.
So today, on World Teachers’ Day, I offer a heartfelt thank you to our teachers. On behalf of our parents, students, and the wider community, I honour their dedication, their wisdom, and their love. They are the soul of Chevalier College, and the community is deeply grateful.
To our teachers: You teach, you lead, you love. “Thank you” for doing what you do.

Principal
