This Sunday we celebrate Mother’s Day and give thanks for the incredible mothers, grandmothers, carers and special women who play such an important role in the lives of our children and school community.

We acknowledge the love, care, encouragement and support they provide each day, often in ways both big and small. Their guidance helps shape our students into compassionate, resilient and confident young people.

We hope all mothers and special women in our community enjoy a wonderful day filled with love, appreciation and time with family. Thank you for the many ways you support our school and our students throughout the year.

We also extend our sincere thanks to everyone who supported our Mother’s Day Breakfast at St Monica’s. It was wonderful to see so many families come together to celebrate and connect as a community.

A special thank you to our staff and P&F volunteers who helped organise and prepare the morning. Your support and generosity helped create a warm and welcoming event enjoyed by all.

Swimming

Years 3–6 Swimming & Water Safety Program

Our Years 3–6 students recently participated in the Swimming and Water Safety Program, developing important skills and confidence in and around the water.

Throughout the program, students focused on water safety awareness, stroke development and personal survival skills, while also building resilience and confidence through new challenges. It was wonderful to see students encouraging one another and showing persistence as they worked to improve their abilities.

Thank you to staff and families for supporting this valuable learning experience.
